Our Story: From Science to Play

We’re a husband-and-wife team—one of us a conservation scientist, the other a neurobiologist—who discovered the magic of natural toys when we became parents. As scientists, we always understood how children grow and learn, but becoming parents made us realize just how important toys are for development.

This realization sparked a new chapter for us, blending our scientific backgrounds with our desire to provide quality, development-focused toys for all children. This inspired us to fill our Island with specially selected toys, and with everything learn along the way, open our Learning Island where every toy is chosen with care to help children thrive.
